The last storm of the day. This gust front was associated with a tornado-warned bow echo in an extensive squall line. The warning inspired mild panic in many of the customers and employees at the Belle Plain McDonalds, while we calmly ate our sandwiches. The storm appeared to be no tornado threat at our location, and the outflow winds may have been weaker than the background gradient winds preceding the storm. A few close LTGCG strikes and small hail were the highlights before we departed for home.
