View to the NW across the north arm of Lake Thunderbird, where the Little River empties into the lake. The lake level was 1045 ft, which is 6 ft above normal, and almost 15 ft above the record low level set in December 2006. Compare this photo to the next one, which shows the sorry state of the lake back in September 2006. The lake peaked at just over 1048 ft in mid July, or 3 ft deeper than shown in these pictures.
